was it a bad idea to get 2 cartilage piercings in one session ?

about 3 days ago i got 2 cartilage piercings in my left ear. It hurt like hell. i got my lip done last year and it was fine the day after i got it done. the piercings she put through my ear are the same thickness as a standard lip bar and look the exact same as a lip bar. my ear has been in pain ever since i got it done, i havent been able to sleep on it and its really annoying me. i have been cleaning it with a q-tip and salt and warm water mixed together, taking ibuprofen, and i tried putting an ice pack on it last night but the pressure was too much, Does anyone have any tips that might help the healing process with my ear ?

avoid touching it too much, and when you do use clean hands. get yourself an ear care spray, or even savlon or dettol and do it once or twice a day... it will take about 2 weeks to stop hurting, and u wont be able to sleep on it for a while... i got mine done in april and its still sore and not healed... it takes a long time... try not to go in chlorinated water for a while and avoid salt water too much... ummm not sure what else to say... good luck :)

no piercer worth their salt will do 2 cartilage piercings on the same ear at once

cartilage takes roughly 12 months to heal, its a long slow process and they should have told you that
i couldnt sleep in mine for 5 months at all, and even then it was still uncomfortable
a piercing is trauma to the body, please remember that
it needs to be treated as such
cartilage takes a very long time time to heal, keep using salt water and it will heal in time
